In Portugal you’ll find the Non-Habitual Residents’ Regime which enable the access to a 0% tax exemption for your abroad income, as long as you haven’t been tax domiciled in Portugal for the past 5 years.
Once submitted the application and issued the status by the Portuguese Tax Authority, it will be granted this exemption for 10 years for the following abroad income:
- Pensions
- Interest
- Capital Gains
- Rental from property
